The low-calorie diet consists of creating a caloric deficit by reducing the consumption of ingested foods, thus forcing the body to draw on your fat reserves. This diet allows for weight loss that is a little less rapid* than in the protein diet but still interesting. To meet all the body's needs, it is suggested to take vitamin, mineral and protein supplements.
*This diet is not the most effective if you have a lot of weight to lose; however, it has the advantage of encouraging people to change their eating habits.
Part 1:
- You can choose to eat two or three meals of food per day supplemented with protein supplements while calculating your portions.
Part 2:
- You can choose to take the alternative diet with a regular meal at dinner, supplemented with protein supplements at the other two meals and as snacks.
